Shark It's an aquarium. A maritime history hall. And an IMAX Theater. But most of all, The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk is about people having fun together while they gain an appreciation for a Long Island Sound they've never seen.
When you see Long Island Sound through our eyes you don't just watch - you participate. Interactive displays and ever - changing exhibits put you at the controls. Kids and adults get real hands - on experiences. The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk offers students exciting, educational experiences that build an awareness of the ecology of Long Island Sound. Our objective is to impart an appreciation for the marine environment and its relationships to contemporary society.
